SOUND ROOMS

Building a sound room requires smart design and creative use of materials.  To ensure that sound doesn't take the most direct route out of a space, a combination of insulation, resilient channel, quiet rock, and staggered studs is used.  In addition, sealants and caulking are an integral part of keeping sound in or out.   Square rooms are also notorious for directly bouncing sound.  Building sound rooms on angles makes for less reverberation.
